“I made a deck of cards with my face 🗿

I’ve been wanting to make a face deck for years. Initially, it was supposed to be a painting of an old man, but I slowly came to the (at the time uncomfortable) realization that the only logical subject was myself.

I’ve always been synonymous with the dealersgrip brand, and the company is a reflection of my values, interests and taste.

I find the idea of a face deck so interesting because such a large part of our lives revolves around faces and expressions. We communicate through words, but everything is revealed through our expressions.

On top of that, the face deck is a completely unexplored concept in cardistry culture. I just had to do it.

Ironically, Oliver is the one deck I’ve made that has been best received by my non-cardist friends. They think it’s hilarious.

Whether you view it as a symptom of our self-absorbed times or as a dank meme, I just hope this deck makes you feel something.”
